All of us @Perpetuum Media are happy and excited to announce that our portfolio is growing in a big way. MARVEL is here! 

The newly added MARVEL HTML5 games include well known characters and franchises like Spider-Man, the Avengers, Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, Hulk, Guardians of the Galaxy and much more. 

In a carrier based mobile game subscription market first, Perpetuum Media in close cooperation with our friends over @Mondia will offer consumers access to the MARVEL HTML5 games in selected stores across Europe, Middle East and Africa. In addition, we’ll bring MARVEL to Perpetuum Media’s QuickFun® and gamZclub offerings across the region. Rollout is expected to commence during late summer 2021!

CDN Change: Amazon Web Services
To ensure a fast, reliable and secure service, QuickFun®  has been deployed on Amazon Web Services. 
AWS is the leading web hosting & CDN provider, with the largest cloud infrastructure of the world. Top OTT services use its technology, such as Netflix, Peacock & Disney+ Hotstar.
We’ll be able to serve our short form players with extra fast toolsets.

Video Compression
To ensure instant enjoyment, we optimized the compression of our gameplay videos without jeopardizing their quality. Users with lower bandwidth will now be able to scroll the service with no latency. 

Database Optimization
To support the future awesome features of QuickFun®, we started a deep restructuration of our database. We’ll be able to manage more complex information in order to provide the most suitable games our customers need.

QuickFun® live in UAE

A new milestone has been reached: QuickFun® is now released in the United Arab Emirates. The 10 million subscribers of Etisalat will now be able to enjoy all the fun of snackable gaming in one unique platform.

Several months after its initial launch in Belgium, QuickFun® now expands in the MENA region with a first step in UAE. We thank all our partners for the hard work, and are happy to announce that Etisalat customers will now be able to swipe for their next games!

2020, with the coronavirus pandemic and the boost of digital content consumption, short form content skyrocketed in all entertainment formats. Tiktok passed the 800 million users threshold, Instagram launched Reels, its bite-sized streaming feature. Eventually, Snapchat introduced Spotlight, another means to promote viral videos. In the gaming world, Hyper Casual has seen incredible growth over the past year.

Global consumers will continue to enjoy snackable content in the near future. QuickFun® will offer them the best instant games in collaboration with incredible partners.

QuickFun® live in Belgium

It’s a first ! QuickFun® is now released in Belgium through the Telecom Operator Orange. Snackable gaming is now ready for both NL & FR speakers.

As the internet embraces the age of short form content, the demand for instantaneous games has been surging. In the mobile gaming market, Hyper Casual & Casual have been the most growing segments in 2020, with a 90% growth for Hyper Casual alone (Appsflyer – The State of Gaming 2020 Edition).
